Uithoorn is located on the Amstel, with a yacht marina where you can also hire a boat. From the Amstel you can sail on up to Amsterdam or Vinkeveen.

Just 2 km from Uithoorn you will find the Aalsmeer flower auction rooms. Every morning, the world's prices for flowers are plants are decided here on its one million square metre site.
